Who We Are:
This book was created by Bridge to Harmony, a nonprofit 501(c3) organization founded by high school students in the California Bay Area of San Francisco. Bridge to Harmony has a large and vibrant following from a diverse range of students and young people. Taste of the World and the delectable stories behind it! is our first book. Interwoven Story: Fashion of the World is our second book. We will continue to create a series of similar titles which will include sports, music, and other interests from different regions.
The purpose of our club, and this book, is to heal conflicts in our world by using cultural sharing, understanding, and helping. To that end our purpose for this book is not for profit but to engage young people who will benefit from it and its message of diversity. In a world clamoring for stories like these, we believe that it will embrace a wide range of young adults who will enjoy learning about new cultures and people from around the world. Together, we shall construct the “bridge to harmony”, a journey of shared discovery and unity.
